The 'Bat Boy' Buddha has fangs; a grimace; large chiropteran ears; is wearing a human skull with a three pointed crown as a hat; all the while supporting arrows pointing at an upwards angle. A Lucky 13 'Buddha' carries with it the lesson of equipoise, non-conformity, and tolerance. Each Buddha is a Māra, “Lord of the Senses.” Māra weaves his potions of greed, hatred, ignorance, fear, doubt, frenzy, desire, awe, diminishment, and dilution. All that which exists, exists! All that which does not exist, also exists.
That which does not exist, exists simply in the knowing of its non-existence. If we were to write a book of all that which does not exist, would the book of unknowing simply cease to exist!?
